Este cuadro pertenece a la exposición "Vidas y Contrastes" realizada en el 2007 en la sala de exposiciones de la Fábrica de Harinas de Albacete. Todas las obras iban acompañadas de un texto. Lo incluyo a continuación por que para mi es un complemento esencial para la obra.

Érase una vez… un pequeño gatito
negro, con ojos de limón,
a quien nadie quería ver, con quien nadie se quería encontrar.
«¿Qué es lo que temen de mí? ¿Por qué no soy como los demás?»
Y es que él no entendía que el color de su pelo asustaba
que mala suerte traería
a quien con él se cruzara.
