Esta pieza está basada en un pequeño personajillo hecho a lapiz en La Habana años atrás del cual derivó una serie expuesta bajo el nombre "Agritos" en esa ciudad.
Lo hice en circunstancias especiales; me había partido una pierna y casualmente habia comprado un dia antes materiales para pintar (por esa fecha sólo me dedicaba al dibujo y el modelado en arcilla). Ese año hice unos cuatro o cinco lienzos de los cuales conservo dos.

Born in Havana, Cuba (July 1961)
He studied at the Academy of Arts "San Alejandro" (1976-1981) graduated in the kind of sculpture and drawing.
Integra pottery workshop "Free Hours" under the direction of Professor Juan Carlos Santana between 1982 and 1986 and has contacts with graphic design and theater.
Since 1981, states as a draftsman and later years as a ceramist in Havana and other cities of Cuba, gaining some national recognition.
