Luis Serrano was born in Avilés, Asturias, in 1976 and since 2000 resides in Navia.

It began in the drawing and painting at an early age Ibañez Gomez's hand with which he spent nearly ten years. He continued his training as an autodidact, especially in portraits.

Stayed away from painting for a period of time, to retake momentum and strength more than ever since 2001.
