En 1997 UNESCO inscribió el Conjunto Monumental Histórico de la ciudad de Panamá como Patrimonio Mundial. San Felipe es una península sobre el océano Pacífico con no más de 350 metros de ancho y 500 de largo.donde conviven en sus calles estilos arquitectónicos españoles, franceses y americanos.
