Artwork description

Since moving to Florida, I have a fascination with palms, palm fronds, and plant life that is so green and verdant.The tropical and unusual shape of all palms trees color are calming and reminiscent of vacation times. Many in this series were shot at night, and lit by an on camera strobe. The trees take on a haunting and magical expressing they have their own mysterious lives after the sun goes down.

I moved from Philadelphia to take on the challenge of starting the newly approved 192 credit BFA in digital photography. With my direction I added significant books, Anthologies, and DVD\'s to their library collection. I created a state of the art photo studio with all equipment to make commercial photography.
