Maud es la fuente de la vida. La llamé Maud (Mod, Moddy) porque es el nombre de una reina de una obra de literatura o teatro que ahora no recuerdo.
Maud es una gata seria y taciturna y fiera cuando la situación lo requiere.
Ahora anda reposando su tripa llena sobre la hierba húmeda. Quiere estar sola y por eso, si te acercas, te mira un momento, hace como si se lo pensara, y sale disaparada con la tripa (nunca mejor dicho) a ras de tierra.
