Artwork description

The festival of San Fermin or sanfermines (Sanfermines Basque) is a celebration in honor of San Fermin which takes place annually in the Spanish city of Pamplona, capital of Navarre. The festivities begin with the launch of the loud bang (rocket) from the balcony of the Town Hall of Pamplona at 12 noon on July 6 and end at 24h of July 14 the Poor me, a farewell song. One of the most famous is the San Fermin bull run, which is a journey of 849 meters in front of bulls and culminating in the bullring. The closures take place every day between 7 and 14 July and start at eight o'clock, with an average duration of two to three minutes. The sanfermines have origins dating back several centuries, but its fame is a recent phenomenon, linked also to the publicity given Ernest Hemingway is a festival unique and undoubtedly the event for the most widely known Pamplona in the world. Its current appearance, cosmopolitan and bustling, is the result of a slow historical evolution dating back to the Middle Ages. MANIFESTA well title this new series of works that are born of reflection and hours of work with paper and pencil, for simplicity in form, freedom of line, color and expression of a social feel long wanted to develop in my creations. I hope this new stage is your pleasure ...
