De singular característica colonial, la Pileta Ornamental de la Plaza de Armas de Moquegua fue diseñada por el Francés Gustavo Eiffiel, y construida de fierro.

La Pileta tiene tres cuerpos, tasa y grupo escultórico central, en el centro de la plataforma intermedia, lucen su belleza las tres gracias de la mitología griega: Aglaya, Talía y Edrosine.

La Pileta fue instalada en el año 1877.
