La tierra aparece en el centro del cuadro como un embrión, el embrión de la vida, rodeado por el espacio, las estrellas y otros planetas. Alrededor del embrión, la capa más superficial (de color amarillo ocre) está quebrada como signo del peligro que corre nuestra vida en la tierra.
