La Rumba cubana, compuesta por toques, cantos, bailes y pantomime. Es una de nuestras manifestaciones musicales de mayor prestigio folclórico y popular, que se extiende hacia otras naciones. Sus principales protagonistas fueron los negros libres y sus descendientes, pertenecientes a distintas étnicas africanas como la lucumí, ganga, arará y quizás la más significativa de todas: la gangá-bantú.
