Salah Adin Roberto Contreras Gonzalez was born on May 27, 1984, in Havana, Cuba writer father, a Chilean poet Roberto Contreras Lobos (deceased) and her mother the writer Paulina Fatima. Since very little has been artistically inclined towards painting, drawing.

Roberto Contreras lived until 2002 in Palma de Mallorca, now resides in Miami with his wife Stephanie, he has a new challenge beyond the canvases, making art from a technical mixture of colored glass and granite.
