Pertenece a una serie de dibujos sobre árboles. Todos estos dibujos están realizados con una cartulina especial cubierta por un barniz negro brillante. La técnica consiste en rascar la cartulina, utilizando cutter, papel de lija y otros objetos, y permite crear dibujos muy sueltos y de gran fuerza dramática. El color lo apliqué con acuarelas.
