This work is inspired by a mythical character, the GEISHA who has been assigned a false identity for years due to the ratings attributed to the character.
The interpretation of the GEISHA SERIES was performed with a face without identity, only focusing on the makeup with the coldness and the touch of color on her lips and the outfits that collect her hair, which enhance this image so characteristic of such a mythical figure.
I want to capture in the works, that cold expression of the character, that uncertain identity that creates doubts.
I chose to make the GEISHA series because I am very interested in this figure, in the game that allows me to dress my GEISHAS with those dresses with a lot of color and play with textures to make a collage using different recycled materials, environmentally sustainable, among the materials I use are: cardboard from the egg cups (with which I decorate the elements that carry the decoration of her hairstyle), the coffee grounds (with which I decorate some of the dresses with which I dress my characters), the role of different newspapers, kraf paper to internally protect the order that comes in the cardboard box (with which I work the funds of the work, relaxing different textures).
The works are carried out applying a mixed technique in acrylic and a collage, on canvas or wooden base.
My first experience was in primary school, I remember in the drawing subject where we drew the sheets in black and white with coal mines, it was from there that I started drawing on the living room table, it was my study. One of my messages is the characteristic of not defining the identity of my characters, I only work on the characteristic, then the viewer can imagine.
