It is his expression of sadness and conformity at the same time what is appealing in this portrait. The gender ambiguity is purposeful, as it increases the uncertainty of his situation. Painting is my passion since childhood, but only recently I have been able to dedicate full time to it.
I have traveled extensively and I consider myself a "citizen of the world"
I like contrasts, like delicacy and roughness, rural and urban life, sadness and joy. In my journey to find my own style, I have painted portraits, still life, symbols, and so on. And I am still experimenting.
I would like to reach to those who share my vision of the world, to know that my pictorial message raises emotions and nobody remains indifferent.
