The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
Building began around 1632 and was completed around 1653, and employed thousands of artisans and craftsmen.
This artwork is building in balsa wood.

Julio Santos has transformed a hobby of artisan (the development of models and miniatures using balsa wood), in an artistic way to express the impressions that cause architectural works that inspire.

The quality of detail, symmetry and even the rhythm of all similar works, these miniatures make a delight to see and admire.
