Niño, mandala del SolThe other day I took some pictures of the sun with a special effect included in my camera, the result was very surprising. The sun looked like it shows on the painting, a beautiful geometric octagon. So I decided to paint it. In this painting the child (enfant in french) is reaching toward the sun (soleil in french) with his hand, like I was doing with my camera that day. The sun transforms into a Mandala that was inspired to me by pictures of crop circles I saw in the internet.In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be employed for focusing attention of aspirants and adepts, as a spiritual teaching tool. So in my painting The teachings comes from the sun.
