Los objetivos principales de este proyecto son encaminar a la gente en el descubrimiento y conocimiento de la historia de mis amigos negros; los afrodescendientes del norte de chile; Arica y el valle de Azapa. Desde la esclavitud, pasando por la chilenización, hasta el presente.
Rescatar los fragmentos de su memoria, utilizando elementos propios de su cultura e imaginario y llevar al espectador a través de un panel de 8.40 x 3.00 mts. por un viaje visual al retrato y el inconciente colectivo de la comunidad afro de la xv region y su historia.
