Una niña con sombrero, y un caballo, iluminada por la intensa luz del trópico y sumergida en flores de diferentes colores, resultan en una buena excusa par que Bornot nos seduzca con una pintura de contenido estético agradable y placentero.
Para esto se vale de fuertes contrastes de luces y sombras, con colores calidos predominando los verdes y amarillos en el fondo y coloridas flores en primeros planos, acompañadas por dos aves que sobresalen de la vegetación.

La estructura compositiva consta de tres planos fundamentales, donde el foco de atención se centra en el rostro de la niña, si bien el peso visual está equilibrado, las pinceladas en forma de toque puntillista, interrumpe la línea y difumina la luz proporcionando el placer de apreciar una obra decorativa, sin renunciar a un ambiente de poesía.

A girl with her hat, and horse, enlightened by the intense light of the tropic and, submerged in flowers of different colors, become a good excuse for Bornot to seduce us with a painting of nice and pleasant aesthetic content.
To achieve all this, the artist makes use of strong contrasts of lights and shadows, with warm colors, outstanding the greens and yellows at the background, and colorful flowers in the foreground, accompanied by two birds coming out from vegetation.

The compositional structure has three basic levels, where the focus of attention is centered on the face of the girl, although its visual weight is balanced, the brushstrokes, as pointillist touch, interrupts the line and blurs the light, giving the pleasure of appreciating a decorative work, not quitting to a poetry environment,
