Artwork description

Siguiendo con la temática medieval, en óleo sobre baldosa se representa, de San Isidoro, este calendario agrícola. Mes de noviembre.Iconografia que simboliza la matanza del cerdo, de forma más cruel que la que veímos de niño en casa de nuestros padres, cuando nos pedían los mayores "una talega" para meter los sesos del cerdo. La obra se encuentra en Castroverde de Campos, en el Mesón del Labrador, colgando de una de sus columnas.

Porqueras Salvador was born in Villanueva del Campo (Zamora) in 1959.
