Aunque lleve el número III, éste es el primero de la serie del sendero. La pinté en orden inverso y la numeré por importancia y complejidad.
El rodeno apunta al fondo, el camino, de polvo rojizo, refulge y los únicos elementos distintivos son los chopos, las retamas y los cardos de bordura. Resulta un cuadro con dos partes diferenciadas. La izquierda, próxima y detallista y la derecha, lejana y difusa. Incluso el camino participa de esta cualidad.
Un experimento en perspectivas. Ya empiezo a aproximar al espectador al cuadro que está viendo.
La parte próxima de la izquierda se encarga de ello. Tiene un arbusto verde a sus pies.
