Caracas fue fundada en un valle rodeado de elevaciones que fueron tomando nombre según su "ocupación": montaña = estado natural; colina = elevación ocupada por viviendas de clase media y alta; cerro = elevación ocupada de viviendas humildes o "ranchitos". En esta obra presentamos los primeros rayos de sol sobre las Colinas de Valle Arriba de Caracas.

Artist information

This German-born Venezuelan artist, began in the drawing and painting at an early age under the guidance of his mother. Took courses in drawing and watercolor painting in Caracas, New York, Pittsburgh and Santa Fe, USA
