Esta estación es una de las tantas estaciones de ferrocarril, en este caso en la línea General Roca, que se dirige al interior de la provincia de Buenos Aires.
Situada en un paraje de unos 300 habitantes, a 100 km. De la capital, Buenos Aires, ya en la inmensidad de la llanura pampeana, la soledad del andén, las largas esperas den tren, y la vista que se pierde a lo lejos llevada por los rieles, simbolizan parte del espíritu pueblerino.
La frecuencia cada vez menor del paso del tren (ya suspendido en innumerables casos) llena de nostalgia la estación, como en una continua espera, y con la esperanza de que lleve a sus habitantes a nuevos destinos y posibilidades de crecimiento.
