I was touching up "Rain Squalls" after the rain let up and was inspired by the cold air mass cumulus which were all that remained of the rain squall streets. The cumulus were quite vigourous in the increasingly cold air and the colouration was typical of fall cumulus. As a result I ran to get a fresh canvas before the cumulus that caught my eye got away. This is thus standing on the back hill looking eastward. It was rather chilly with the blustery northwest wind and I am still chilled. It was still a lot of fun though. Jo-Boo was in the farm house in front of the wood stove which I had lit for her.
