Xilografia (grabado); El huaso es un personaje tipico de la cultura de Chile,los que actualmente viven en el Campo Chileno, Antiguamente existian tambien las Cantoras y Cantores; Eran personas que sabian tocar la guitarra y entonaban cuecas, tonadas, coplas etc.. y muchas canciones que se transmitian de forma oral y con las cuales animaban las fiestas, cosechas, matrimonios etc, en mi pais una de las personas que se dedico a recorrer los campos recolectando este precioso legado que fue parte de la historia de mi pais fue la gran Violeta Parra.
Segun cuenta mi abuelita, quien es una mujer nacida y criada en el campo, la cantora que existia en su pueblo la llamaban la "Petita Hormiga", esto transcurria entre 1929-1939. mi abuelita ya tiene 90 años gracias a Dios cumplidos en 2009 .
