Esta obra de la ciudad se construyó debido a una necesidad. Donde ahora se ubica se encontraba la antigua Puerta Árabe del Puente que unía las dos partes de la ciudad. En 1742 tras en derrumbe del puente, no había más alternativa que crear un nuevo paso mejorado debido a la gran cantidad de traseuntes que por allí debían pasar

El Arco fue eregido durante el reinado de Felipe V.

In 2007 a photograph of mine was part of an exhibit of objects Málaga "Árchez Farmers."

In December 2008, marks the 25th anniversary of the recovery of the Feast of Rondeles and why this event is published the book "The Living Tradition Rondeles" and your picture...
