Pintura de temática Histórica Haitiana. Trata la ultima batalla entre la Fuerza Armada Revolucionaria Haitiana dirigida por el Emperador Jean Jacques Dessalines contra la Fuerza Armada Francesa de Bonaparte dirigida por el general Rochambeau en la Isla Santo Domingo (antiguo nombre de la actual República Haiti durante la época de la esclavitud) en el 18 de noviembre 1803.

Artist information

Robert Luxama is a multi-disciplinary artist born in Haiti and raised in his youth in Dominican Republic who inspires into the sublime of mystical anecdotes from folklore and mythology, as well as identity, biodiversity and the climate change to create narrative painting and drawing. He has been a member of the National Society of Fine Arts of Santiago, Chile in 2015 and 2016.
