Stone and cor-ten steel civic sculpture commissioned by Jalon town hall Alicante. I was given a free hand to do as I wished with only two suggestions from the town hall. "Is it possible to have the centre of visual interest visible from the road?" The road is behind the trees elevated two metres. "Is it possible to symbolise the alliance that Jalon has with three other towns?" I was working at the time on small sculptures that fit in fine with these suggestions. I could see it standing there on the grass before finishing my first conversation with the mayor.
