Under the protection of the Hohenzollern the French Cathedral was constructed 1705, reconstructed 1905 for the French-reformatted community of the Huguenots settlers, French refugees who were invited by the Great Kurfürst to saddle down in Brandenburg. They got financial help. Inside you find a museum of the Huguenots.
