Ésta es mi tercera pintura, después de muchos años dedicado a la escultura, la cual me tiene muy entusiasmado.
Elegí el nombre de Amankaya, nombre de mujer aymara que significa Azucena. Me imaginé como una flor que crece a orillas del lago Chungará, rodeada de yaretas. Al fondo se aprecia el volcán Parinacota.
