Prats Janer was born in Monistrol de Montserrat (Barcelona) in July 1916, at age 21 is mobilized by the army during the Spanish Civil War. At the end of it, from 1939 to 1942, fulfilled his military service in Galicia, Pontevedra province, where fascinated by the natural landscape of the land, begins to make little notes watercolor of great beauty for its spontaneity and color scheme, reflecting the different sites its journey through the cities of Pontevedra, Vigo and other rural villages...
