Artwork description

El Galatea, fue un buque escuela de la Armada Española, en la que permaneció en activo desde 1922 hasta 1982, fue construido a finales del Siglo XIX en Glasgow. Antes de pertenecer a la Armada, recibió los nombres de Glenlee, Islamount y Clarastella, y se usó como buque mercante. Se encuentra conservado en Glasgow, localidad donde fue construido.

Artist information

I'm self taught, at sixteen, I attended classes in drawing and modeling with the teacher Ernest Furio in the School of Arts and Crafts in San Carlos in Valencia. Now retired, I'm back to resume classes at the University of Applied Arts Popular.
