¿Frialdad y belleza son compatibles? este fue el nexo de unión de las ideas que busqué en este cuadro, no quería una mirada dulce, sino fría y bella al mismo tiempo, y que el resto del cuadro integrara este concepto.
Una véz más traté de plasmar una imagen no sujeta al paso del tiempo, y dejando a un lado prácticamente todos los elementos formales... salvo la mirada.
La distribución de la luz era importante también para dar énfasis en la mirada y establecer un ritmo en las formas, el vestido está únicamente sugerido y pintado con espátula, y el resto del fondo también ha sido tratado con espátula con color generalmente azul y gris, destacando contra el rojo del vestido
