La vision de la reina Xooc esposa de Escudo Jaguar al hacer un sacrificio de sangre y en el trance aparece la serpiente bicefala emplumada Quetzalcoatl representada aqui con los colores tipicos de los mayas, inclusive el famoso\"azul maya\". En la parte superior podemos apreciar aun guerrero maya, mientras que en la inferior aparece de las fauces Tlaloc, dios de la lluvia para la legendaria ciudad de Teotihuacan, situada en el valle de Mexico. Los glifos nos indican el emblema de Yaxchilan, la fecha del sacrificio 746. d.c. y el lugar donde se efectuo, las riveras del rio Usumacinta el cual bordea la frontera con Guatemala.

My name is Alejandro Moises Calderon, I have a BA in Communications, video producer, musician and painter, I have always loved paintingl since I was a kid. Now I apply my art to my video documentaries. Maya art inspires me to paint and I think history and maya culture is impressive.
