Una de las mujeres míticas más antiguas del tango. Según la letra de " Tiempos Viejos"(tango del compositor Francisco Canaro) "se formaba rueda pa' verla bailar". Famosísima por su belleza era el centro de las reuniones tangueras de Buenos Aires, a principios del 900.Pocos documentos históricos hay de ella, se sabía que era "oriental" que en la cultura ríoplatense significaba nativa de Uruguay. En la obra se la representa joven, seductora y más atrás otra imagen la recuerda como lo que fué:el alma del baile. Los colores saturados logran la intención del artista de mostrarla llena de vida, alegría y en la flor de la juventud.
