Born in 1955 in Lunahuaná, Cañete, Lima - Peru. Studied secondary school in NM "Oscar R. Mariscal Benavides of the place, in 1971 he joined the National School of Fine Arts of Peru, following studies of Drawing, Painting and Printmaking with teachers E. Galdos Rivas, A.
