Se trata de un paisaje del pueblo de Autol en La Rioja Baja, Los dos picos de la parte izquierda de la imagen se conocen por el nombre de '' El Picuezo y La Picueza `` y tienen esa forma por la acción erosiva del cercano río Cidacos. Al fondo se ve el pueblo de Autol y la torre de la iglesia de San Adrián y Santa Natalia construida en el siglo XVII. En el margen derecho del cuadro se puede ver las ruinas del castillo medieval de Autol, en lo alto de un cerro.
