Artwork description

A Venice carnival mask. A fresco technique, placing natural pigments onto still wet limelaster (anchored onto plywood base). The brush stroked form movement and shape as they leave their marks while the plaster is still wet creating a textured effect.

Born July 1954 in Bedford, UK of Italian parents. Studied Dress Design at Luton College, of Art & Technology, with L.S.I.A.D. (Licensors of Industrial Artists & Designers) examination at the London Academy in 1976.
