Artwork description

Una detalle más ampliado nos permite observar que no existe recorte más que en los lugares deseados. La mancha oscura de la derecha pertenece a la sombra de la nariz.
La agresión del ácido, que se filtra a través del grafito, redondea ligeramente los granos de la aguatinta que debido al roce constante de la mina del lápiz tiende a levantarse. Al quedar desprotegido el metal es más complejo conseguir los tonos blancos más luminosos.

Francisco Dominguez Penis (autodidact).

Born in Caceres, Las Minas de Aldea Moret, an April 16, 1951. My specialty is drawing, with a preference for traditional printmaking (etching and aquatint. Introduced in this world by a great artist mezzotint and etching, Ramiro Undabeitia my friend. Currently dump in Oil and Pastel.
