Born in Arequipa, Peru in November 1953.
In 1970 he studied drawing and painting pottery at Ingram High School, Seattle Washington USA.
He studied painting at the Norwalk Adult School in Los Angeles area of California, in the years 1974/1975
In the year 2003 he studied painting with Professor Sonia Medel Northern University in Chile.
In 2007 he studied drawing and painting with the prestigious Fine Arts professor Alfonso Rock Tana, Peu.
