Un camino recorre a tramos paralelo a las vías de tren en el Parque Nacional Tierra de Fuego. En el OTOÑO AUSTRAL destaca por su colorido la LENGA arbol típico del sur de la Patagonia Andina.

Sus hojas caen en invierno, pero en otoño sufre una impresionante metamorfosis de color amarillos, ocres, cobrizos y rojizos, de alturas de hasta 40 metros, cuya madera se usa en construcción, carpintería y mobiliario.
