“Why hearts? Because they are fun and playful and sometimes you just need an excuse to use color and enjoy the composition. But suddenly they become the center of attention. The hearts are just a reminder of love, happiness and joy.”
Mariana Sola was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1974. Mariana works predominantly in the medium of painting with acrylics but she also works with clay in her sculptures. Mariana completed her B.F.A at the University of National Arts in Buenos Aires Argentina in 1998. She had many solo and group exhibitions while living in Argentina and then got married and travel to USA, Uruguay, Puerto Rico, Chile and Canada, where she now lives and work. In each of her moves she had shows and work on her studio.
