Artwork description

Table top made with glass with abronzed aluminum border and filled with an exotic cement-based gravel with a black volcanic sand backing. Really three-dimensional look.
Hecha con vidrio con borde de aluminio bronzeado y relleno con piedras multicolores de un tipo de cemento y con un fondo de arena negra volcánica.

Artist information

Durante toda mi vida he practicado el arte en forma de dibujo, acuarelas y acrílico, y ahora que vivo aquí en México he desarrollado mi técnica de hacer cuadros con arenas naturales. En esta región existen muchas arenas de colores, y hago paisajes, florales, escenas religiosas, etc. usando las arenas como si fueran pinturas. Soy originario de Nueva York, y viví mucho tiempo en los estados de Montana y Colorado también. Mi esposa es mexicana y vivimos aquí en Atlacomulco con nuestros tres...
