CASA EL ALTO MOLINO
Don Hernando de Lerma (fundador de la actual ciudad de Salta), en 1583, da en merced, a Don Hernando Arias Velázquez, las tierras donde se levanta el primer molino de Salta. Posteriormente fueron donadas a los Jesuitas que instalan la primera curtiembre de la ciudad y la abandonan en su expulsión (1767). La propiedad vuelve a los herederos de Arias Velázquez quienes las venden al Dr. José Madeiros. Su hijo, el Dr. Francisco Ignacio De Madeiros las vende a Don Juan Gregorio Patrón y Fernández; pasa a sus herederos hasta el 15 de julio de 1968, fecha en que adquirió la casa la Dirección Provincial de Turismo para establecer el primer Mercado Artesanal de Salta.
