Artist information

I am Pilar Tapia. Born in Peru, beautiful land of sunshine and ancient cultures. I always had a penchant for literature and art, which led me to become a teacher of children and adolescents. Like my husband, Aldo, I love working with fire and see how the glass is taking shapes and unexpected colors. The fire and passion contrast with the peace that makes me work with pure silver crochet, beautiful work learned from the hand of my master, Juan Pacheco.
