La impresión social que tuve al descubrir el mundo talibán, sus mujeres encarceladas en sus mantos, quedándose casi ciegas por el uso de los mismos, hizo que de alguna manera me impresionara, de tal forma, que puse mis pinceles en marcha. ¿Cómo podían comunicarse entre ellas sin ver los gestos que son tan importantes para todos?. Precisamente las pongo en círculo como si estuvieran hablando. Vigilando a una niña que ya está destinada a lo mismo. Los barrotes que se ven al fondo significa la cárcel social. Es mi pequeño homenaje de solidaridad a las mujeres que no quieren estar en dicha situación.
