La Chimba, es uno de los Barrios del Santiago Extra Muros, que desde la Colonia se ha venido conformando como un Barrio lleno de verduras, muertos, locos, enfermos, flores, fantasmas, ebrios, chinganas, ropa china, locales turcos y peruanos; pordioseros, chef de los mejores, Dueñas de casa, jóvenes emprendedores, en fin, este barrio es por lejos, uno de los más representativos de la idiosincrasia de un Chile que aun no está totalmente construido.
