Artwork description

Sobre tablet de madera, directamente, sin imprimación previa, se puede dibujar con los lápices de colores llamados polycromo. Compuestos de una mina ligeramente blanda permiten yuxtaponer colores con cierta facilidad y con la ventaja de crear suaves veladuras que actúan por trasparencia. En Cáceres tengo el problema de que no resulta fácil encontrar repuestos de los lápices que se agotan y ello me obliga a comprarlos por cajas, que aunque sean las más pequeñas siempre resultan caras.

Francisco Dominguez Penis (autodidact).

Born in Caceres, Las Minas de Aldea Moret, an April 16, 1951. My specialty is drawing, with a preference for traditional printmaking (etching and aquatint. Introduced in this world by a great artist mezzotint and etching, Ramiro Undabeitia my friend. Currently dump in Oil and Pastel.
