Una vez al año se celebra en Uribia el Festival de la Cultura Wayúu. La obra muestra a este joven indígena quien espera su turno para demostrar sus habilidades en la competencia de arco y flecha. A su derecha, la joven hermana calma sus nervios justo antes de participar en el concurso ?Majayut de Oro?, competencia en la que se miden los conocimientos de la cultura y etnia wayúu. Se observa a la madre, dando los últimos consejos.

I was born in Cartagena, Colombia, August 30, 1971. I´m Industrial Engineering with Minor in Computer Science from the Universidad del Norte, Barranquilla, Colombia, 1993. Strategic Marketing Specialist CESA, Bogotá, Colombia, 1998. Master of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts, Unarte, Puebla, Mexico, junio 2011, where I had teachers as José Lazcarro and Alberto Ibáñez, notable Mexican artists.
