Anteriormente, las casas eran hechas con barro. Sus paredes eran sumamente gruesas para darles estabilidad. En sus techos se colocaban las tipicas tejas y de alli nacio el nombre "Casas de techos rojos". Aunque sencillas tienen mucho caracter. Aun hoy dia conservan su hermosura.
