Artwork description

In this big format work, Bornot makes us to get into a world of poetry. Here we are before a creator who transforms the notion of space into a notion of environment, and ?in my opinion- that´s the subject on which this work deals.

The harmonic vibration, the efficient use of technique serving the silent and moving images seems to invite us to a fascinating adventure of contemplation.

Concerning the technique we can stand that the use of oil according to the style of some impressionists, mainly the pointillists like Seurat, succeeds on stressing the widespread effect of light, making possible the modeling of the figures with soft light contrasts.

Thus, the artist creates a composition with vertical axis, and asymmetric volumes. Where the female whole body figures rub the upper and lower limits of the picture, setting a nearness and a rhythm that recreates recreating in an environment as suggestive as chromatic, thus we feel how the color, not being sober, is direct and works as an element of visual balance, before a leading character figures breaking with their presence the uniformity of an endless field of flowers.
